Shayne Robinson

Shayne and his wife, Christina, have lived in Waterloo for the past three years with their four daughters: Amara, Addy, Karis, and Kaelyn. After a number of years in the business world, and years pursuing training in SBC seminaries and the local church, God clarified Shayne’s calling to serve in pastoral ministry. After moving to Waterloo, Shayne and his family were convinced that there was great need to plant additional gospel-centered churches in the community. Shayne currently works bi-vocationally as Redeemer is established in the community and he is often found preparing sermons or meeting with people in the community to study the Bible or talk about life. Shayne serves Redeemer as the primary preaching pastor.…

TJ Geist

TJ was born and raised in Illinois. He met his wife Amy while attending Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and they were married in 2000. He is the father of 3 daughters: Jaylyn, Adley, and Leighton. Prior to becoming an elder at Redeemer church, he served as a deacon and small group bible study leader for many years. He currently works as a department manager at a non-attorney representation company in Belleville, Illinois. TJ is working to help us love our neighbors, serve those who are with us, and make disciples as Christ commanded in scripture.…

Dirk Miller

Dirk and his wife, Kim, live in Freeburg, IL with their three daughters: Maggie, Masyn, and Marlee. They have both worked in education for over 10 years. Dirk is currently an Activity Director, teacher, and coach in Marissa, IL and Kim is a school psychologist in Belleville. Before joining Redeemer, they were members of FBC Columbia, IL for approximately 7 years. Before coming to help plant Redeemer, Dirk lead bible studies with high school students, taught children, and helped disciple members of the body through instructing courses in Systematic Theology. Dirk’s passion is reaching young people and old people alike with the good news of Jesus Christ. His focus in serving the body of Redeemer is geared toward helping us disciple the children and families that we might together bring glory to God.…
