We need God’s help to begin looking past the things that our culture and our world are telling us are blessings.
We need to look up and beyond those things because they cause our hearts to hope in them and not to look at Christ and hope in the eternal things that are of far greater value.

As we move ever closer to our celebration of Christmas, we look at Psalm 96 and are of the object of our worship.
This will be a timely reminder as we're surrounded by so many shiny things seeking to grasp our attention and worship this holiday season.
What did the Church first look like? What does that have to teach us about what it means to be the church today? Have we missed the mark?
