A Call to Sinners (Luke 5:27-32)

We’ve been called, not to be surprised or afraid of the sinfulness of sinners (who we have a lot in common with), but to enter into the lives of who are lost and blind… bringing with us the One who can show the way, who can make the lame to walk and give sight to the blind, who can remove the shame of the past and bring life and restoration to all who would believe.

As we move ever closer to our celebration of Christmas, we look at Psalm 96 and are of the object of our worship.
This will be a timely reminder as we're surrounded by so many shiny things seeking to grasp our attention and worship this holiday season.
What did the Church first look like? What does that have to teach us about what it means to be the church today? Have we missed the mark?
